Most packages include an engagement session, which is the perfect
way for her to learn about your relationship and how you
would like your wedding photographed.

It is her goal to document the wedding day in a way that highlights the
beauty of the location and details, but also captures real moments
as they unfold. Of top importance also is photographing the bride
and groom at their best as well as the wedding party and
family members. This includes portraits with flattering poses and
professional lighting. Your wedding will be photographed with
 an artistic eye, keen sense of detail and awareness of key moments.

For that reason, there are two things that are never compromised,
 the wedding day coverage and the album. All couples, regardless
of their budget and package they select
benefit from full wedding day coverage for up to eight hours.

Photos begin up to two hours before the ceremony with
 photojournalistic coverage of the bride’s dressing and final
preparations, continue with bridal portraits and fun images of the bride
with her bridesmaids. The groom’s preparations are also covered
if he is at the same location as the bride followed by groom’s
portraits and photos with the groomsmen.
All of those images are photographed before the ceremony.

The ceremony is also covered in a documentary style. Shelley and
 her assistant are unobtrusive photographing the ceremony using t
elephoto lenses that enable them to remain at a distance and yet,
still deliver images that capture the emotion and beauty of the vow
exchange. All ceremonies are photographed using natural
light (no flash) to preserve the sanctity of the moment and the mood.

After the ceremony, formal images with the bride and groom’s
family members are first on the list followed by the entire wedding
party together and ending with the bride and groom
alone together. All formals are photographed using a portable,
professional lighting system, if needed. Shelley offers the couple
both elegant formal portraits at the ceremony location and
casual, fun images outside the church or at a second location
such as a nearby park or the beach.
All of this will be completed in an hour or less ensuring that the
bride and groom reach the reception on-time to greet guests.

The reception is photographed in a photojournalistic style as well.
Shelley and her assistant will capture the key moments of the
 reception including the planned traditions, but also are
there to document the details you have worked so hard to perfect as
well as fun photos of your family and friends. We are happy to
coordinate with your wedding planner or DJ to ensure
coverage of all events. All you have to do is have a good time!
Shelley and her assistant will
stay until the bride and groom’s send-off, if there is a planned exit.

After the wedding, the couple will select images for the album using a
convenient on-line proof viewing system. The photos are posted
10-12 days after the wedding. Then Shelley personally
custom designs each album in an artistic way that will showcase the
story of your wedding day. No two albums are alike. Yours
will be a work of art! Couples benefit from a choice of two album
styles: flushmount or traditional and a wide variety of
cover styles and options to fit your taste.
